My own journey of growth throughout my Hutchins career has been varied and vast. The introspection that is required to make Hutchins classes worthwhile is immense and thus cultivates metacognition. We as Hutchins students become thoughtful and reflective of different knowledge systems and epistemologies in society.

title. History and Social Studies Educational Autobiography
This class was almost fully asynchronous and thus relied more on the individual work and less on work done during seminar. This essay is about my own personal experiences with history in my early education. Perspective is everything when you are further educated on indigenous and regulated history.

title. Mother Tongue Essay - "Education is in My Blood"
From one of my favorite classes in all my Hutchins career came this essay about my families history with education. Coming from a long line of highly educated woman and educators directly influenced who I am today. Reflecting on this give me greater perspective on epistemology and societies systems' influence on all of us.

For this essay, I was fired up by the book we read Post-Truth while we were in the Trump Administration era. This book prompted introspection of myself but also at the development of social media and news in my short lifetime.
